To understand what life is, we have to study the phenomenon of consciousness. Life and consciousness are inseparably linked with each other. When we try to understand what consciousness is, we are faced with a paradox. Any sane person understands that consciousness depends on the social environment, that is, from purely physical factors. Any living being carries a memory of previous generations. It turns out that not only the events of the world are connected by an invisible thread. Working with our present, we are simultaneously affecting the future. Changing attitude to the past, we're changing it. While working on the past, we're working on present and future.
Remember the Gospel scene, when a sick man comes to Christ. The disease is the result of sin. It was known in ancient India, this is often referred to in the Old Testament. Suddenly, Jesus says for his time a blasphemous phrase, "Thy sins are forgiven!" Sins are the behavior in the past, which created the current illness. Therefore, Christ could change the past of a person. In India, they would say that he is able to burn out negative karma. He possessed the secret of time management.
Thus, a person carries the memory of their ancestors, and, hence, behavior and sins of the parents can affect him. What healers call a curse hanging over a clan is also a fact. But actually we carry within us the memory not only about the emotions and behavior of our ancestors.

Their pulse, respiration, blood tests and general physiology were, as if they were young children. Thinking, the general level of questions and answers were also relevant. Then the subjects were asked to tell about the events that would happen to them in the future (which actually has been the past for them). They willingly reported, what school they would graduate, in which institution would go, where they would work when getting married, how many children they would have. Since this information has already been available, the scientists carrying the experiment could easily verify that the facts were the real ones.
And then there was the fun part. Under hypnosis the subjects were asked to tell what would happen to them in the future. And they told about what would happen to them after five or ten years. This information nobody knew, and it is still impossible to confirm it. We can only wait. Thus, the events of the past and future are not isolated pieces. It is a live single chain. And when working on any period of time, we're working on all the time together.
Sigmund Freud suggested that the past does not disappear, but is always kept in the subconscious mind of a man. So, if one changes the attitude to adverse events, stored in the subconscious mind, one can cure a disease. Freud tried, and it worked out. Strictly speaking, psychoanalysis method developed from this approach. The situation creates emotions and hence creates disease if they are negative. It turns out that consciousness is secondary. The environment creates the disease. But we are changing attitude to the occurring situation by our consciousness, thus influencing the events of the past and changing their code in our memory. So, the consciousness is not so dependent on past events.
Under hypnosis, a person can convince himself that the cold water is boiling, and it will burn. But the same person by hypnosis convinces himself that boiling water is cold water, and no burning occurs. A Tibetan monk, sitting in a vat of boiling water, explained to passers-by: "you have convinced yourself that it's boiling, and it may burn you, but I convinced myself otherwise." From the standpoint of science it was impossible: he has had to be boiled long ago. Still, it is consciousness that operates the world and can change the physical properties of material objects.
But we go back to Darwin's theory. The human fetus appears first as the simplest unicellular creature that lives in water. The very act of conception reproduces evolution of life on Earth. Life, as the information agent, fertilizes the oceans. First, there are single-celled, and then the fish appear. "The human embryo initially evolves gills and tail, and then it turns into a reptile like a lizard. During the further evolution it turns into a man. So, the man was the result of evolution. But until now scientists have not found the transitional link between ape and man. Therefore, many now argue that Darwin's theory is wrong.
There are only two positions: either it is true or is false. Let's try to resolve this paradox. We may suppose that the man appeared at once, and his appearance might make one or two generations. That is, the Cro-Magnons started to produce modern people rather than their young ones. As once a chick hatched from eggs laid not by chicken. This means that information about the new living beings came from the future. One must admit that time is not a homogeneous amorphous value. It consists of two streams moving in opposite directions. And on the external plane past is gradually turning into the future. One can influence this process from subtle plane. There are different layers in the past, turning into the future. Hence, any event which occurs is a set of future and past, and inexplicable leaps of evolution are explained fairly simply. This is a package of new information coming from the future and fertilizing the present. And so, the theory of universe cooling after the Big Bang, is only half correct. The universe constantly gets new packages of information, it actively develops. Actually, expansion of the universe does confirm this. So, the stars and planets, including our Earth, are not the dying and the cooling bodies. The energy always needed for the glow of the Sun and to increase the mass of the Earth, comes from the future. Time becomes the energy, the energy becomes matter. From this point of view, human is a creature that has consciousness that is associated with body, which depends on the body and disintegrates after his death. Mankind has always tried to learn about his future. Each governor always had fortune-tellers, astrologers, magicians and soothsayers in his palace. Many years ago a clear vision of the future developed in ancient India: the future is inevitable, and it is useless to impact on it. Millenniums passed, people developed. In Judaism, time is already regarded as some other value. It turns out that by behavior we influence the future, and those sins we committed in the past, give us sickness and misery, not only in the present, but in the future. Our children and grandchildren are paying for our past sins. But if we turn to God and repent, the removal of sins is possible. That is, you can change the present and future.
The Laws of Manu, who is believed to be the progenitor of mankind in India, do not talk about repentance. For every crime a corresponding punishment is supposed. And in Judaism one can cancel a sentence, even sent over by Higher Will, by revision of his past and repentance.
In Christianity, the future looks out quite different already. It is a physical entity, one can interact with it. It turns out that it may have certain traits and characteristics. It turns out that the person is actively engaged in the future, which has a totally different structure than the present. And when a person comes into contact with this new future, he may even die.
In Indian philosophy, the past blends in the future. All is pre-ordained, and the Creator does not interfere in the events. In Judaism, God communicates with people and causes them to change their tactics. Following the precepts allows people to survive and change their future. Christianity is no longer looking at the crimes that people committed in the past. You can overcome any negative past through an intense love for God and the inner changes. And that means that the main thing is neither suffering as a form of redemption, nor a strict observance of the commandments, nor repentance as a form of change of the past, but the intense love for God as an opportunity to change the past and future. There then arises a question, what should the man be to get in touch with the new future? And why can he die, coming into contact with it?
A person can live and perform all the commandments given to him by Higher Will. But when it comes to a new future, he may still die. That is, the fulfillment of the many commandments and good behavior are not an access code to the future, which comes to us. And people who believe in God, fast, trying to keep all religious dogma, may be doomed to failure, when a new era and a new time approach. Only those of them will survive who bear a hidden password for survival in a new package of the future. Christ has found out salvation, which turned out to be the key, to all the rules and commandments. It is love.
The higher the human’s level of unity with the world is, the more further ahead he gets, the more secrets he learns, and so his ability to rule the world grows more. But whatever big is his level of spirituality, he would never give a complete picture of the universe. Absolute information is hidden in the feeling of love, connecting with God. If a person wants to accumulate an elementary strategic power, he must restrain his first urges: the desire to eat, have sex, get money, prosperity, fate, and so on. An example is, when an army travels in the desert, and those who greedily drink from the well after two days without water, they are not the soldiers, they are the slaves of their desires.. And those who have a calm dignified approach and drink slowly - they will win. Even if they are 10 times smaller in number. Because the inner peace and dignity is the ability not to become a slave to one’s desires. Man is a king of his desires when his energy is not only in desires, but at the highest strategic points. So, it turns out, the moral aspects force us every second to refrain from resetting power on surface layers of the human.
